Business Intelligence Analyst (Oil & Gas Operations)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and operational performance reports
  • Transform and validate data using Power Query / ETL
  • Analyze data, trends, anomalies, and performance gaps
  • Translate business requirements into practical BI solutions
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting solutions and web applications
  • Handle ad-hoc analytics and reporting requests

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query / M
  • Strong SQL and data modelling skills
  • Experience with ETL and data transformation
  • Experience with Python, REST APIs, and Git
  • Experience working with data from SCADA, ERP, EAM, GIS, or other operational systems
  • Experience with production, maintenance, asset, or operations data
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Industrial Operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with existing applications and data environments
